Every interventional procedure begins with access. Our mission is to make that simpler and safer because we believe that providers have more confidence in their procedures when they begin well.

Summit Access was founded develop and commercialize the next generation of percutaneous access systems for the interventional suite. Harnessing the latest manufacturing technologies available, we’ve created a best-in-class technology platform that provides an intuitive, streamlined approach to micro-acess. We aim to offer high-quality, intutive devices at reasonable price points that easily fit into existing clinical practice and combine the functionality of multiple devices to maximize procedural efficiencies. Furthermore, every one of our products supports compliance with sharps safety standard regulations enforced by OSHA and the Joint Commission by reducing the risk of occupational needle stick injuries in clinical practice.

Summit Access is privately held and based in Englewood, Colorado.

LEE GEIST

PRESIDENT/CEO

Lee has over 30 years of progressive experience in innovation, product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and business management, with particular focus in single patient use medical devices. By combining individual effort and effective business team leadership, he has achieved outstanding results throughout his career at Summit Access, CIRCA Scientific, GE Healthcare, Vital Signs, and Marquest Medical Products. He has over 20 combined issued and pending patents on anesthesia, respiratory, vascular access, biopsy, temperature monitoring and “sharps” safety devices.

FRED PIAZZA

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND REGULATORY MANAGER

Fred is the Quality Assurance Manager for Summit Access. Prior to joining Summit Access, Fred worked in the area of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for 15+ years for various medical device manufacturers (Gambro USA, Vital Signs, Inc., and Marquest Medical Products). His experience in the medical device field encompasses quality control, design, and testing. Fred is a graduate of Valparaiso University and has achieved Quality Engineer and Quality Auditor ASQ certifications.
